Alltel Stadium, opened in 1995, was constructed around remnants of the Gator Bowl.  It is home to the Southern Division Jacksonville Jaguars.  It also hosts the annual Florida-Georgia football game and the Gator Bowl Game.  It is presently undergoing expansion from over 73,000 to 82,000 seats in preparation for hosting of the 2005 NFL Superbowl.  In 2005, it will also host the first ACC title game.

All photos were taken by Dr. Ray Oldakowski and Phil Stubblefield.  The map was provided by the Jacksonville Visitors Guide, Winter 2000. Updated 2003.
