AVIATION

The Wright Flight Program is a program especially designed for Aviation majors. The program is a goal setting program for children and youth combined with learning about aviation.

Wright Flight JU Community Service Director Teach aviation history to children at a local school and help them set academic and behavioral goals. Accompany the children on a tour of a local airport. COMPUTER TRAINING

JU students can teach computer skills to children, homeless persons, senior citizens, and agency staff. Students can also perform data entry and systems analysis at some agencies. Children and Youth- Mentoring

A mentor is a person who develops a relationship with a child or youth and provides support, guidance, and encouragement. Some mentoring programs require one hour per week while others require more. You can decide which program will work best for you. Mentoring training is provided free of charge through the Kesler Mentoring Connection (224-2400).

"One Shot" Special Projects

Get your campus club, residence hall floor, apartment building, fraternity or sorority involved! A "One Shot" is a one-time service project that lasts about 3-4 hours. They’re fun, quick, and rewarding. Plus you get a break from studying, eat good food, make new friends, and learn to do things that you’d never thought you’d do.
