Music Education, Grades K-12

The Music Education program is a collaborative effort between the School of Education and the College of Fine Arts. The faculty in each college brings a wealth of expertise in their respective fields. And small classes ensure that Music Education students have a lot of one-on-one learning time with their professors. In addition to studying general education courses and music core courses, students complete a music concentration in voice or any instrument.

Students who graduate from this program earn a specialized Bachelor of Music Education degree. They can also meet the requirements for certification to teach music in grades K-12.
